Candle

Materials Needed:

toilet paper roll 

little stars

glue 

scissors 

markers

paper

 

Instructions:

1. Cut a peice of paper to fit around the toilet paper roll.
2. Cut a flame shape peice of paper and cut little stars(or buy some from the store)
3. Glue the paper on the toilet paper roll.
4. Color the toilet paper roll as desired.
5. Glue on the stars to decorate the candle.
6. Glue on the flame to finish the candle.
7. Place the candle on a doily if desired (you may want to tape it on).
8. Feel free to decorate further with sparkles, sparkle glue, sequins or anything else the kids can think of.

 

Handprint Wreath

Materials Needed:

• glue, 
• scissors,
• red, white and blue paint or construction paper.

Instructions:

1. Trace the child's hand onto paper and cut out the prints.  
2. Make nine handprints (3 of each colour). 
3. Cut out the prints and glue to form a wreath. 
4. Decorate as desired.
5. OPTIONAL: You can place your childs photo in the middle of the wreath.
